Some of my teacups...

The purchase of “just one” can quickly become a hobby …So it was with me. And teacups.. This time, I thought I'd post a few items here that you lovely bloggers might like to look at....a few of my favorite teacups..

this is the start of my teacup collection :)

My Roy Kirkham Redoute Rose Breakfast Cup & Saucer, bought from a frend.

I do have Royal Albert Flower Of The Month Collectable Teas February Cup and Saucer. I like this footed cup because the inside top of the cup has "FEBRUARY" written on it...reminds me of my birthday month..

I have teaset (a set of 4) in Royal Doulton's Lambethware FLORINDA pattern.. given by my brother who's studying in Birmingham a few years back..

This design similar to Portmeirion pattern, bought in South Korea...I was thrilled when I saw this teaware collection. It's part of Royal Albert's 100 years anniversary set. There are 10 trios (teacup, saucer & plate) in the collection. One for each decade since they started. This Duchess pattern represents the 1910s decade in the celebration of Royal Albert's over 100-year history.

Royal Albert 100 Years Anniversary 1940s English Chintz cup & saucer. This set caught my eye almost immediately! Got them for such a good price...

I really adore this design of the Goldtone Roses set against a soft pink background..

Dun ya love the rich burgundy vine color cup n saucer... with lots of intricate gold decorations.

This Royal Albert Regency Blue pattern is rich with blue and deep maroons flowers, highlighted with gold.

Royal Albert Old Country Roses Embossed...

I eventually decided to collect tea cups decorated with pink roses..and here they are. I have this english pink roses tea set from Royal Albert..

And now, I was thinking of how I could display them in a wonderful way.. pls advise..

Have a great day !

Pink Saturday

Well this is my first Pink Saturday hosted by Beverly from How Sweet the Sound, and I am so excited about it. I am putting on my blog post, so here it is.

These are my collections of pink tea cozy. I really love to create things for the website, and these are the things I like the most. I am also working on some other items .

A Shabby Pink Wrap Around Tea Cozy. The tea cozy here is made from fabric cotton plus linen and its from Japan.

This is a lovely tea cosy, inspired by the beauty of a rose.. This year promises to keep me busy. I have new designs that I can't wait to transfer from my head to fabric.

I really like the finished look of the piping and ruffles of this doomed tea cozy. I found the fabric at the local store and it's absolutely adorable with pink roses, pretty petals and green leaves throughout.

It really does keep my tea nice and hot. I just love them. I’m thinking of branch out and make toaster covers, microwave covers, pot holder etc.

I think that's all for this Pink Saturday. Thanks for stopping by and looking at my pretty pink things. Have a great weekend!

Green Gate

I have been away busying myself every day in the house, arranging things, taking photos and uploading of new items..with lots of new stuff coming in and a million ideas buzzing around my head , I can't seem to sit still.

so back to the topic, when i mentioned "green gate", I'm not talking about this kind of gate...actually i mean the Green Gate company from Denmark. They have some really nice and gorgeous country cottage and chic style collection for your entire home n family.

I do have a few pieces in my home, i really like their patterns and colors.

This is my Green Gate melamine collection..

decorated with vintage inspired floral patterns....combination of florals, spots and checks..

I picked up a bunch of the storage bins and I love them....So very beautiful, the vivid color styling of the roses and the stripes is so lovely....
Although Green Gate is sold in many countries around the world but it is very difficult to find in my country. For Asia, they have only in Japan n South Korea. So everytime in Korea, i wouldn't regret to purchase the next Green Gate item to full the room..Wait for my next collection since i planned to go this April..yippee..

Browse their online catalogue and you will find many beautiful items for you..
Have a great day!..

Emma Bridgewater and my growing tins collection - update 01

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of designer's brand. But I've heard about Emma Bridgewater wonderful collection from other blogs. Her design is pretty and unique. Fortunately, I'm so lucky to have a piece of it. I bought a Polka Dot Biscuits Barrel from a fren at a very cheap price. This great Polka Dot Biscuit Barrell Tin is fully licensed Emma Bridgewater merchandise.

I also bought a Black Toast Spaghetti Tin which now one of my favorite things in my kitchen. Go checkout the Emma Bridgewater website there are all sorts of gorgeous things there!

My next purchase was kind of vintage Cheese Shaker tin box from Primo Italia.

Everybody loves cupcakes! This cute set of 3 lovely pastel coloured cake tins decorated with that much loved retro cupcake n pink gingham design.

Afif's Birthday Party

On 26th January, my sisters and I decided to organise a pot luck for birthdays celebration of my fifth son,Afif and my only brother,Arif. I can't believe how fast the years have gone.

New born Afif..

6 months..

1 year old...

So we had both birthday boys party at my home. We threw them a BEN 10 birthday party. My sister made the wonderful BEN 10's theme cupcake. Thanks kak yang!..

The event started with doa selamat recited by ayah dearie. It was heartwarming to see everybody offering prayers for the well being of the 2 birthday boys.

We invited just a few guests..my mom, dad, all of my sisters n my inlaws..

I still stand behind my love of having my children's birthday parties in our own home. I know many parents choose to host parties elsewhere, but I'll take an inexpensive, fun, at-home party. Since we had a BEN 10 theme for the party (my idea), I thought the birthday party decoration should be in green, black n white in color. So i just arranged the main table in any green decorating item i could find in the house.

Thanks to my sister, Aini who brought all the green sweet candy, ice creams, ballons and birthday party supplies.

I prepared the corn rice, ayam masak merah, ayam golek, udang tepung goreng and the green dessert. Thanks to mom dearie, who made the delicious baked macaroni..

Yummylicious food. Everyone loved the food.

Everyone dressed up in those three colors. Afif with his brothers...

Our birthday boy...

A lovely kak Yang...

Alhamdulillah it all went well and every one had a great time..To Arif, Happy 30th Birthday!!
