Well as the 'shop' grows and grows.. I need more shelfing units for display. I was really looking for something a bit 'pinky' and at last, I found the dresser and hutch unit at the local store. It is beautifully highlighted with hand-painted pink rose design. Lucky the color of the cabinet is not too white, the shop owner had painted it in an interesting shade of pink.

Here is my new shelf, showcasing some of my just-bought antique plates, teacups and part of my cottage n flowery ceramic collection. I brought out a few of my favorite teacups to decorate the dresser top.

Moving up to the next shelf are my on sale ceramic collection. They are just gorgeous small decal plate featuring cottage living style, fruits and flowery design with green and gold trim.

This is my idea of collections on display...a mismatch of special things adorns a beautiful dresser.

If you noticed there a few pink cabbage roses dish plate landing on the shelf..They came from a collection of fabulous floral antique plates that i bought from an antique dealer who collected antique plates, brass item, old stamps/coins etc..they sold the item half the price. Lucky me..i always got a great bargain!

The flowers are just beautiful going from blush, pink and red.

I do love transferware plates. When Ajmah starts out selling antique plates, i couldn't resist those brown transferware. Each one is a little work of art! Someday I would love to have a whole set of them (oh noooo...!)

P/S: Many thanks to all who made a purchase from my last shop update and thank you for your kind emails and for finding the time to comment on my blog. Please check out my next new item..Have a great day!

I do have Royal Albert Flower Of The Month Collectable Teas February Cup and Saucer. I like this footed cup because the inside top of the cup has "FEBRUARY" written on it...reminds me of my birthday month..
I have teaset (a set of 4) in Royal Doulton's Lambethware FLORINDA pattern.. given by my brother who's studying in Birmingham a few years back..
This design similar to Portmeirion pattern, bought in South Korea...
I was thrilled when I saw this teaware collection. It's part of Royal Albert's 100 years anniversary set. There are 10 trios (teacup, saucer & plate) in the collection. One for each decade since they started. This Duchess pattern represents the 1910s decade in the celebration of Royal Albert's over 100-year history.
Royal Albert 100 Years Anniversary 1940s English Chintz cup & saucer. This set caught my eye almost immediately! Got them for such a good price...
I really adore this design of the Goldtone Roses set against a soft pink background..
Dun ya love the rich burgundy vine color cup n saucer... with lots of intricate gold decorations.
